Hey Everyone,

Today I wanted to bring attention to another community that is making the world better for the people who are labeled as “Quiet”, and has brought mass awareness to the correct term to describe us, Introverts.

This is the Quiet Revolution. Recently founded by Susan Cain, Co-Founder and Author of the bestselling book, Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking (recommend reading, one of the best purchases I’ve made). Quiet became a huge eye-opener to the world (Including myself) as to what is an introvert, how we operate, both personally and professionally, and a understanding of who we are. Shortly before the book was released in 2012, I had no idea that the word Introvert even existed! I had just started college the fall of 2011, and as part of my introductory course, the topic of introverts/extroverts was an early discussion. It all made sense, how I operate, understanding who I am, and how to better myself all laid out in one book. Since then, Susan has done many speaking events, including her famous TED talk and has worked with many companies to help create a better work environment that Introverts can thrive in.

Fast forward to 2015, we are introduced to the Quiet Revolution site, where interesting stories from Introverts around the globe are being shared, as well as a wide range of tips and advice to introverts for handling life. Quiet Revolution is something that everyone can learn and benefit from, not just the Introverts. What Quiet Revolution stands for and work towards is something that everyone can appreciate, and I am happy to call myself a member. Please give the site a look, it’s well worth it.

Thank You for Listening,
Brandon
