Above you is an example of the numerous podcast that have been filling up my head for the past few hours. Podcast from blogs and magazines such as Foundr, Under30CEO, and Addicted2Success have been providing so many stories from numerous people whom have been in the same entrepreneurial situation as myself, succeeded, and have gone on to live amazing lives and share their experiences.
It has been 5 months since my last day of working in an office, for someone else, and carving my own path to the life and work that fulfills me. Progress has been a battle lately, mainly because I have to fight through rejection, no responses at all, setbacks and hoping that the few opportunities that I MIGHT have come through, but not wrapping all of my hopes around them.
I’m a young guy putting as much effort as he can to make the visions he sees in his head become a reality, because if I don’t make them happen, then I know for sure that they never will. I see informative content that is also both motivational and entertaining. Encouraging numerous people that they can go out and do what they love, and that they know that the starting point is much closer than they think. I see myself reaching a point where I (or someone else) can come up with an idea, and If I believe it’s viable, I can dive into it and make it happen, no questions asked. There is no greater freedom than being able to do what you love, work at your own pace, explore the world at will, and helping others in the process.
I’m sharing this with you because I want you to feel what I’m feeling, to be motivated consistently and be proud of what you’re doing and get closer to the life you imagine for yourself. Right now, I’m working at my own pace, I’ve begun the process of at least motivating others to do the same, and I know that if I continue to persist, then everything else will fall into place. The journey is rough, but I’m enjoying it. I ask myself “If I were not on this journey, where would I be?” I don’t like my answer to that question.
