What Fuels You To Be Great?

You Deserve All Good Things... it's true!

I ask this because I don’t think that enough of us take the time to dive in deep and think about all of the things that makes us want to do better. I would like to believe that there is some driving force, in all of us, that strengthens us to achieve something positive & fulfilling. Throughout the course of our lives, we experience moments that trigger our imaginations & stimulate our brains to the point where we want to create similar experiences for ourselves and even recreate them within others.

There are so many extraordinary things going on in the world that it’s pretty hard not to be positively influenced in some way. We all need to go out and explore our imagination & find something that makes us want to tell the world “This is what I’m doing, so get prepared”. Think about it, What’s the purpose of going somewhere if you don’t have a point behind it & how does anyone get anywhere without something fueling them?

I personally find influence from just about every source. It could be positive like something tangible that I strive to want someday (if this is your sole source of fuel to greatness, it’s ok, you’re not alone and it’s nothing to be ashamed of, but be weary that it will only get you so far), a new idea that I strongly believe in, seeing something so inspirational and awe-inspiring, or something negative such as things that I wish to keep my distance from, or even being stuck in the same place for a certain period of time.

But back to my original question, What Fuels You to be Great?

My personal challenge for everyone reading this to take a minimum of 15 minutes out of your day (with no interruptions) to really think about not only what you want out of life, what directions do you want to pursue, and also the influence(s) for whatever you want to do. Believe me when I tell you, without inspiration, you will watch yourself slip, become unproductive, and eventually even forget the reason why you are doing what you do in the first place. If the thought doesn’t come to you right away, don’t worry. But when it comes, don’t forget it. Don’t forget what you’re fighting for. Keep the inspiration flowing and let nothing deviate you from achieving greatness.

I’d love to hear what you come up with! If you care to share, feel free to comment below.

Thanks for listening,
